Tungseth Set to Make His Next American Idol Appearance Tonight

Fergus Falls, MN – Fergus Falls native Chris Tungseth is set to make his next American Idol appearance tonight after blowing away the judges with his audition last Monday.

The 27-year-old Hillcrest alumnus performed Lonely Road, a song he wrote in honor of his late father Mark. Chris says his father was his best friend and his foundation, and when he was diagnosed with Leukemia, “That was the worst thing I’ve ever had in my life. It was like Superman was no longer Superman.”

Chris sat in with Mary Dolan and Dave Bishop on KBRF Presents Morning Talk, and talked about what the audition process was like and what has happened since his audition premiered. You can watch this morning’s episode above.
