Washington, D.C. – Republican Congresswoman Michelle Fischbach says she agrees with President Donald Trump’s military action against Iran.
Fischbach says we needed to take action, “For years, they’re terrorists, they are evil, and they have been killing Americans, taking them hostage, whatever it may be. And it was time because they are building up a nuclear power. They are going to, we’re going to have nuclear weapons. And in that region and for the safety of the U.S., I think it was important.”
Stock prices have plunged and gas prices have surged following the U.S. and Israeli bombing campaign in Iran, prompting fresh concerns from consumers and businesses already navigating an unpredictable economic landscape. Congresswoman Fischbach says she expects the volatility to be short-lived, noting that market forces often correct themselves. She says federal officials are prepared to intervene if conditions worsen.
