Fergus Falls, MN – One person is hospitalized after being hit by a vehicle on County Highway 1, south of Fergus Falls.
The Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office received a call from the driver reporting the incident just before 4 p.m. Wednesday. Deputies say the vehicle was heading south at about 45 mph, and a pedestrian was crossing the road from the west side to the east. The vehicle turned into the center line, striking the pedestrian with the front passenger side of the car.
The pedestrian was transported to Lake Region Hospital by ambulance for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries to their left side. The vehicle was towed to the impound lot.
