Wadena, MN – The Wadena Police Department says Officer Nick Grabe and Wadena Fire Department Assistant Chief Nate Beiderman had the privilege of escorting Noah Coughlan on his cross-country Run for America.
Noah is attempting to become only the third person to successfully run across all 50 states. He started this leg of his journey in Maine and anticipates completing it in Oregon in approximately two months.
Subsequently, he will drive to Alaska and run from north to south. Ultimately, he will fly to Hawaii and run on the big island before planting the flag in the Pacific Ocean. The flag he is carrying was provided to him by the US Air Force and was flown during a combat mission.
This morning, the Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office escorted Noah from Wadena County into Otter Tail County as he continues his journey.
