Staples, MN – A pickup driver was hurt in a rollover crash in Staples early Saturday morning.
State troopers say the pickup was heading east on U.S. Highway 10 at the edge of town at around 1:52 a.m., when it rolled and landed in the ditch near 14th Street Northeast.
The driver, 41-year-old Emmanuel Montanez of Motley, suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Lakewood Hospital for treatment. Troopers say the road was wet at the time of the crash, and alcohol is suspected to be a factor.
The State Patrol was assisted by the Staples Police Department, Staples Fire, and the Todd and Wadena County Sheriff’s Offices.
