Fergus Falls, MN – On Wednesday, Minnesota State Community and Technical College (M State) announced the departure of Jodi Holleman after six seasons as head coach of the women’s basketball team.

Holleman is taking on a new role as head girls varsity basketball coach at Morris Area High School. She will also continue as owner and director of the West Central Wildcats youth sports program.

Holleman guided the M State Lady Spartans to a regional championship in her first season and has earned recognition as a Coach of the Year honoree. Known for her emphasis on fundamentals and team culture, she prioritized recruiting athletes who uplift their teammates and demonstrate a strong work ethic.

“Jodi has made a lasting impact on our student-athletes and our college,” says Jason Retzlaff, co-athletic director at M State. “She cares deeply about her players as people first, and that commitment to mentoring and building strong teams has been the hallmark of her time here. We’re grateful for everything she has given to our program and wish her the very best.”
