Fergus Falls, MN – A new card store has opened its doors in downtown Fergus Falls.
On Monday, The Elliot Exchange celebrated its grand opening inside Arcadium: Zakk’s Arcade Emporium on Washington Avenue. Owners Alex and Kimberly Elliott have a passion for trading cards and wanted to bring a dedicated card store back to Fergus Falls.
According to Alex, partnering with the arcade makes the perfect combination for people seeking nostalgia. He says, “I think it’s a really good thing for the community. Somewhere where the kids can come, trade cards, play some arcade games, and have some snacks.”
Alex says that this is just the beginning, as he and Kimberly look to expand their selection. “We’d like to grow into getting a distributor,” Alex says. “Right now, we’re doing it ourselves. A distributor would be a game changer. Then we could bring hobby boxes to Fergus. We can get bigger, more exciting things.”
The Elliott Exchange will be open along with Arcadium Tuesday through Friday from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. and from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturdays.
