Vergas, MN – A Frazee woman was killed in a rollover crash early Sunday morning.
The Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office says that deputies were called to the scene on County Highway 60 east of County Highway 36 in rural Vergas just before 7:30 a.m. Deputies say that the SUV was heading west when it went off the road to the north, hitting an approach, and rolled multiple times, landing near a tree line.
The driver and only occupant, a 46-year-old Frazee woman, was trapped inside. First responders extricated the victim from the vehicle and she was transported to Perham Health, where she was later pronounced deceased.
The incident is under investigation. The Sheriff’s Office was assisted by Vergas Fire and Rescue, Perham Fire, Perham Ambulance, and the Perham Police Department.
