Filing for City and School Board Positions Begin Next Week

Fergus Falls, MN – Filing for this November’s local elections begins next week.

Starting Tuesday, July 14, residents of local towns wanting to run for city or school district positions can begin filing for those positions. Those interested in running for Fergus Falls City Council positions must file an Affidavit of Candidacy in person at City Hall. The City Council seats up for election this year include Laura Job in Ward 1, Scott Kvamme in Ward 2, Al Kremeier in Ward 3, and Scott Rachels in Ward 4.

Affidavits of Candidacy for the Fergus Falls School Board are available from the School District Clerk at 601 Randolph Ave, Fergus Falls, MN. 3 School Board positions are up for election this year.

Affidavits of Candidacy for city and school district positions must be filed by 5 p.m. on Tuesday, July 28.
