Fergus Falls, MN – A Fergus Falls man has been sentenced for possession of child pornography.
On Monday, 54-year-old Lesley Glenn Nielsen was sentenced to 120 days in the Otter Tail County Detention Facility and 5 years on probation after he previously pleaded guilty to possessing child sexual abuse material (CSAM).
According to court documents, the Fergus Falls Police Department received a tip from Internet Crimes Against Children on November 16, 2024, that 53-year-old Lesley Glenn Nielsen of Fergus Falls had been in possession of a sexual video involving an 11-year-old child.
A search warrant of Nielsen’s devices was conducted on May 22, 2025. The search revealed flags for multiple items of CSAM, as well as multiple items of artificial intelligence (AI) CSAM.
Prosecutors say a detective sent images and videos that were flagged as CSAM to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) for review and possible identification of victims. The detective received a NCMEC report on March 4, 2026, which identified over 60 files on Nielsen’s devices that contained images of real children from various locations.
