Dalton Man Severely Injured After Motorcycle Crash in Underwood

Underwood, MN – A Dalton man was hospitalized with severe injuries following a motorcycle crash in rural Underwood this weekend.

The Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office says that dispatch received a report of a motorcycle crash in the 27000 block of County Highway 35, south of Underwood, at around 8:25 p.m. Friday. Upon investigation, deputies learned the operator of the motorcycle and only occupant, 45-year-old Norbert Tacner, lost control and entered the ditch.

Deputies say Tacner suffered severe, possibly critical injuries and was flown to Essentia Hospital in Fargo. The incident is under investigation by the Sheriff’s Office.

The Sheriff’s Office was assisted by Underwood Fire and Rescue, Ringdahl Ambulance, the State Patrol, and Life Link III.
