Fergus Falls, MN – A major road reconstruction project on Friberg Avenue begins today.
The asphalt mill & overlay project starts at the roundabout intersection with Fir Avenue and ends at Lincoln Avenue. There will be points of access for travelers at the YMCA, at the Kennedy Secondary School parking lot and Baird Avenue for school traffic, and at Summit Avenue.
The nearly $1.5 million project is being fully funded through a Federal State Aid Grant. It also includes the mill and overlay of Pebble Lake Road from Arlington Street to Highway 210, which will begin at a later date.
Work is expected to be completed in September.
