Parkers Prairie, MN – One person is dead following a house explosion in rural Parkers Prairie Tuesday morning.
The Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office says responders from area fire departments, EMS, and law enforcement were dispatched to the home near Almora township, northwest of Parkers Prairie, at around 9:38 a.m. Tuesday. The house was fully engulfed in flames upon arrival. Deputies say one person has been found dead.
The Sheriff’s Office says the home is an active scene and is asking people to refrain from travelling to the location. The investigation is ongoing with the State Fire Marshall’s Office.
