Fergus Falls, MN – Adult community theatre returns to A Center for the Arts (AC4TA) tonight after a seven-year hiatus.
This Thursday, Friday and Saturday, local performers will be putting on Little Women the Musical. Based on Louisa May Alcott’s classic semi-autobiographical novel, Little Women focuses on the four March sisters – traditional Meg, wild, aspiring writer Jo, timid Beth and romantic Amy, – and their beloved Marmee, at home in Concord, Massachusetts, while their father is away serving as a Union Army chaplain during the Civil War.
Executive Director Michael Ranscht says AC4TA is excited to bring back adult community theatre performances, “And everyone that I’ve spoken with is excited about it as well. I hope that everyone will show up to see their friends and colleagues on stage and support their work.”
The last adult community theatre production put on by AC4TA was Oliver in the summer of 2019. The show will begin at 7:30 p.m. Thursday and Friday and at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Tickets are available online or at the AC4TA box office.
