Wadena, MN – Two people have been hospitalized following a crash with a semi near Wadena.
State troopers say that at around 8 p.m. Tuesday, a Toyota SUV was heading south on Otter Tail County Road 75, stopped at the intersection with Highway 10. The semi was travelling east on Highway 10, and the vehicles collided in the intersection.
The driver of the SUV, a 77-year-old man from Glenwood, suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to Astera Hospital for treatment. His passenger, a 77-year-old woman from Glenwood, was also taken to Astera Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, but was then airlifted to a Fargo hospital.
The semi driver was not hurt.
The State Patrol was assisted by the Wadena Police Department, the Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office, and Astera Ambulance.
