Fergus Falls, MN – As part of a growing partnership focused on strengthening childcare in the Fergus Falls area, Lake Region Healthcare (LRH) has provided funding to Children’s Corner Learning Center for a new software platform designed to enhance communication, streamline operations, and improve the childcare experience for families, children, and staff.
“We are excited to enhance the way we serve families through the addition of the Brightwheel childcare management platform,” said Children’s Corner Executive Director Courtney Owen. “Thanks to support from LRH, we’ll be able to use this technology to help streamline administrative processes, improve communication between staff and families, and create efficiencies throughout our organization. One of the greatest benefits is that it helps support our commitment to keeping classrooms as screen-free as possible for children.”
Owen said the platform allows staff to complete many administrative tasks outside the classroom, reducing the need for personal devices during the day and supporting an environment focused on hands-on learning, play, and meaningful interaction.
“This is more than an investment in software,” Owen said. “It’s an investment in better communication, operational excellence, stronger accountability, and more time for staff to focus on what matters most: the children in our care.”
