Frazee, MN (Learfield) – Four people were rescued from a capsized boat Friday night on Eagle Lake, just southwest of Frazee.
When law enforcement arrived, they discovered a paddle boat with a trolling motor had flipped over. One victim was able to swim to shore but authorities found the other three people hanging onto the boat.
One victim was airlifted to a Fargo hospital with unknown injuries. Two others were taken to the hospital with what is believed to be non-life-threatening injuries. The fourth victim was not injured.
A deputy sergeant, Frazee fire chief and four citizens helped rescue the victims. The initial investigation shows the paddle boat started taking on water then it flipped over.
