The three-day Skate Central Lakes Endurance Festival begins today (Friday) in St. Cloud.
The central Minnesota skateboarding race was canceled in 2020 due to COVID-19. Opening day includes a 106-mile route from St. Cloud to Fergus Falls, followed by a 62-mile stretch Saturday from Fergus Falls to West Union, and wrapping up Sunday with an out-and-back 35-mile sprint in St. Cloud.
About 30 to 50 elite distance skateboarders are expected to participate.
