First Annual Fergus Falls Rodeo Starts on Friday

There will be lots of excitement going on at the West Otter Tail County Fairgrounds this weekend for the Fergus Falls Rodeo. This local event will include vendors, crafters food, rodeo fun and more on both Friday and Saturday.

The fun begins on Friday. There will be vendors from 1pm-6pm. The rodeo action starts at 6pm. Silverado is the band on Friday night starting at 8pm ($10 cover if not attending rodeo).

Saturday, which is Kid’s Day, will feature a variety of activities as well. The first 100 kids will receive a free bandana. There will be a dunk tank, petting zoo, bounce house and more. Vendors will be around from 10am-6pm. The rodeo action will once again begin at 6pm. ’57 Chevy will be providing music starting at 8pm ($10 cover if not attending rodeo).

The Region 5 Minnesota High School Rodeo Association was recently added to be a part of this event.

Tickets can be purchased here. The proceeds from this event will benefit the Fergus Falls Saddle Club and Birak Shine Club.
