The roof of the Grant County Humane Society building in Elbow Lake is fixed.
Prior to this project being completed, Robin McNamar said, “It was beyond plugging the leaks and filling the holes.”
McNamar explained, “It’s been many years of talk and raising funds, but it had to be done and we finally got it done.” She added that many people were very generous and several grants made it possible so that they had enough money to do this.
Overall, the construction, was a pretty quick process. McNamar said, “We had a great crew that came in and did it. They had it done in a little over a week”
According to the Grant County Humane Society Facebook page, their building houses approximately 60 dogs and 100 cats each year.
