Early on Thursday evening, the Fergus Falls Fire Department responded to a report of a possible fire at the Perkins Restaurant in Fergus Falls.
When the fire department arrived on the scene, the employees had already evacuated the building. There was no smoke seen from the outside.
The fire department went inside to investigate. They were unable to find any fire or smoke inside the building.
According to the fire department, someone most likely saw a gas burner that was below a fryer, which lead to the call.
It is believed that there wasn’t a fire or gas leak inside the building at any time.
