Wendell, MN – Road construction on County Highway 55 east of Wendell is set to begin on Monday, June 16th, and the road will be closed.
The Grant County Highway Department says it will be replacing the culverts on Highway 55 over the Mustinka River. A detour will be in place from Wendell going south on Highway 11, across Highway 1 to Elbow Lake, and then heading north on Highway 59.
The Highway Department says construction is expected to be complete and open to traffic on August 18th.
