Battle Lake, MN – A Battle Lake man was arrested Friday after recklessly discharging a firearm.
The Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office says that around 4:38 p.m. Friday, deputies, along with police officers from Battle Lake and Henning, responded to a call in the Battle Lake trailer park.
During the investigation, officials determined that 67-year-old Clinton Hunnicut Jr. had discharged a firearm recklessly. With the assistance of the Otter Tail County SWAT Team, Hunnicut was taken into custody.
Deputies say there is no ongoing danger to the public.
