
Pelican Rapids, MN – Two women were hurt when their jet-skis collided on Pelican Lake, north of Pelican Rapids, over the 4th of July weekend.
The Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office says the report came in at around 4:30 p.m. Friday. One female driver reported a possible back injury, and the other reported head and facial injuries. Both women were transported to Essentia Health in Detroit Lakes for treatment of their injuries, which were deemed non-life-threatening.
Deputies say the two women were the only parties involved in the accident and there is no suspicion of drug or alcohol use by either driver.
The Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the MN DNR and Ringdahl Ambulance.
