Sebeka, MN – One person was found dead in a mobile home fire near Sebeka early Labor Day morning.
The Wadena County Sheriff’s Office says dispatch received a report of a house fire in North Germany Township at around 5 a.m. Monday. Deputies and Fire Department personnel arrived on the scene and found a mobile home completely engulfed in flames and collapsed.
Deputies say one adult and four family pets are believed to have died in the fire. The deceased was sent to the Midwest Medical Examiner’s Office for formal identification. No names have been released while the incident is under investigation.
The Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Sebeka and Verndale Fire Deparments, Astera Health EMS, Karvonen Funeral Home, and the State Fire Marshall’s Office
