Parkers Prairie, MN – A man is critically injured following a head-on collision on Highway 29 near Parkers Prairie.
State troopers say that at around 10:30 a.m. Friday, a Toyota Camry was heading south on Highway 29 and a Ram pickup was heading north when the two vehicles collided.
The driver of the Toyota, an 89-year-old man from Parkers Prairie, suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to Douglas County Hospital for treatment. The 52-year-old man from Bagley driving the pickup was not hurt.
Troopers say the injured man was not wearing a seat belt and the road was wet at the time of the crash.
The State Patrol was assisted by Parkers Prairie Police, Fire & EMS.
