Fergus Falls, MN – The demolition of the old south bridge on Highway 210 in Fergus Falls began last night (Thursday).

The work is scheduled to continue tonight between 8 p.m. and 7 a.m. During that time, I-94 will be closed in both directions. The southside ramps will temporarily reopen for rerouting interstate traffic, but will close again during the daytime hours and after the demolition is complete to allow remaining work on the ramps to continue.

If additional time is needed, there may be another night closure planned for Monday, November 2.

Across the project, concrete crews are finishing up various areas, filling in boulevards, gaps and other final touches. A reminder to drivers that Highway 210 remains an active work zone. Keep watch for workers, trucks and equipment.

All traffic is now running on the new alignment, and the temporary lanes at the Redwood Lane roundabout and easterly roundabout have been removed. Drivers will see crews begin removing the old Highway 210 alignment, prepping for final trail paving and getting shoulders and other roadside work completed.
