Parkers Prairie, MN – The Minnesota State Patrol has released the identity of the person killed in a three-vehicle crash near Parkers Prairie Sunday morning (October 19).
Troopers say that 45-year-old David Anderson of Miltona was riding a motorcycle north on Highway 29, south of Parkers Prairie, around 11:10 a.m. A minivan, driven by a 90-year-old Parkers Prairie woman, was southbound, pulling into a driveway on the east side of the road, when the two vehicles collided. Troopers say Anderson’s motorcycle then collided with another southbound car, driven by a 51-year-old man from Ivanhoe.
Anderson was taken to an Alexandria hospital, but was ultimately pronounced deceased. Troopers say he was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
The State Patrol was assisted by the Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office, Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, Parkers Prairie Fire Department, Parkers Prairie Ambulance, North Ambulance, and MN DNR.
