Battle Lake, MN – Two people were hurt after a semi crash south of Battle Lake Saturday morning.
State troopers say that around 9:16 a.m., the semi was heading north on Highway 78, and an SUV was heading south, making a left turn onto South Eagle Lake Road, when they collided.
The driver of the SUV, 51-year-old Aaron Dallman of Ashby, was taken to Lake Region Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. Troopers say Dallman was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident.
The semi driver from Little Falls suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene. Troopers say the road was wet at the time of the crash.
The State Patrol was assisted by the Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office, Battle Lake Fire, and Ashby Fire and Ambulance.
