Courthouse Band Concert and Tours Being Held Next Week

Fergus Falls, MN – The Courthouse Band Concert is returning once again on Tuesday, July 14, at noon, on the front lawn of the historic Otter Tail County Courthouse.

Sponsored by the Otter Tail County Historical Society (OTCHS), the Courthouse Band Concert has been a summer staple for over thirty years. Kathy Evavold with the Historical Society says that due to the celebration of the nation’s 250th anniversary, musical selections will be extraordinarily patriotic, featuring the traditional brass sounds of the Carlisle Band.

Before the concert begins, attendees can grab a $10 lunch from Double A Catering, which will include a pork sandwich, fruit, chips, and a beverage.

Otter Tail County will provide tours of the courthouse before the concert at 9:30 AM and 10:30 AM, and a tour after the concert at 1:30 PM.

The event is free and open to the public.
