
Rothsay, MN – A motorcyclist was hospitalized Friday night after a crash on I-94 between Rothsay and Barnesville.
State troopers say that at around 5:30 p.m. Friday, 79-year-old Donald Bachmeier of St. Paul was heading west on I-94, near mile marker 30, when his motorcycle crashed. He was not wearing a helmet.
Bachmeier suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Sanford Hospital in Fargo for treatment.
Troopers say the road was wet at the time of the crash. The State Patrol was assisted by the Wilkin and Clay County Sheriff’s Offices, Rothsay Fire and Rescue, and Barnesville EMS.
