Sebeka, MN – Two people were hurt in a head-on collision south of Sebeka early Saturday morning.
State troopers say that around 6:34 a.m., a sedan was heading south on U.S. Highway 71 in Rockwood Township and an SUV was heading north, when the two vehicles collided. The SUV rolled off the road and came to a rest in the east ditch.
The driver of the SUV, 44-year-old April Brown of Browerville, was brought to Astera Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. The other driver, 36-year-old Andrew Riedel of Alexandria, suffered minor injuries that were treated at the scene.
Troopers say alcohol was not a factor in the accident. The State Patrol was assisted by the Wadena County Sheriff’s Office, Sebeka Fire Department, and Astera Ambulance.
